Four Peaks Farm is Barbara Crabo Eventing and a whole lot more!  From a beautiful facility, to a leading rider competing at the four star level, to a great group of competitive amateur eventers, to a phenomenal group of horses from foal to retired, we cover it all.
Owner and trainer, Barb Crabo is a top level event rider based here in the Southwest while competing heavily in the entire West as well as nationally. Barb competes at three day events and horse trials from California to Maryland, including at the prestigious Rolex Kentucky CCI****.  She has been the USEA Area X (Arizona, Nevada & New Mexico) Rider of the Year for six of the last eight years. Barb has consistently done very well with her mounts, including winning the 2002 National One Star Eventing Championship on Groovy and again in 2005 on Eveready.  In 2011 Eveready and Barb won the American Eventing Championships (AECs) at Advanced level and were runners up in the Adequan Gold Cup Series.  Barb has for the last several seasons been on the USEA Overall Leaderboard finishing 16th in 2011 and 35th in 2012.
Four Peaks Farm is not all about Barb's riding, but nurtures a great team of amateur eventers as well. Lead by Barb, an ICP Level 2 Certified Instructor, the group spans the spectrum from supportive moms to Beginner Novice lifers to hard core upper level competitors.  The team competes regularly and successfully in Area X and in California, as well as on fun and competitive summer trips to places like beautiful Kalispell, Montana.
In 2012 Barb's students have continued to have great results highlighted by Stephanie Callihan on Compelling Chris winning the Area 6 (California) Preliminary Rider Championships and Madison Kauffman on Sky Captain winning the Galway Downs Training Three Day Event.
Just as we have a great environment for teaching people, Four Peaks Farm is integral in the education of horses of all experiences, ages and breeds. Young horses from our own breeding program and that of Big Sky Trakehners are started and developed on the property.  Barb brings a lot of young event horses along and always has horses for sale and in training for clients both locally and out of state.
Visitors are always welcome, so hook up with us at the farm or at one of our next shows!
